Cassette programmer
The Cassette Programmer is our single-zone programming option. The Cassette is inserted into a receptacle located on the rear right hand side of the heater next to the control panel.
The Cassette Programmer uses a master system - the master being the heater in which the cassette is inserted. The other heaters in the loop are called the slaves as they follow the programme from the master heater. A pilot wire connects each heater and carries the signal from heater to heater. Live and neutral wires are carried from the consumer unit either using radial or ring circuits; no earth is needed, as all Chatsworth heaters are double insulated. Any of the heaters on the programming loop may be manually overridden from the programme by changing the dial on the individual heater to the desired setting you wish for that heater.
All of our heaters are compatible with the Cassette Programmer, though some cannot be used as master heaters as they do not have receptacles. These can be connected via a pilot wire so that they operate as slave heaters.

MD2H Microdriver
The MD2H Microdriver is our 2-zone wall mounted programming option. The MD2H works on the same pilot wire system as the Cassette Programmer, though with the MD2H there is no master heater as the MD2H is wall mounted and receives power directly from the consumer unit.

MD3H CPL Microdriver
Using a Mains Borne system with receivers inserted into the heaters, the MD3H CPL is capable of controlling up to 3 zones. This system does not use a pilot wire but utilises the existing mains cabling to transmit the control signal commands. Ideal for use where it is not possible to run pilot wiring, i.e. refurbishment projects.
